Information Please Almanac This site offers a tremendous amount of information about a variety of topics found under the headings of Almanac, Atlas, Encyclopedia, Thesaurus and White Pages. There is also a homework center, career center and infoplease tools that include conversions and the periodic table.

Fifty States of the United States A list of links by states, this site contains statistical information on all fifty states plus seven commonwealths and territories. Tabs for flags, birds, news, songs, tools and other general topics provide a vast amount of information.

For Teens

Hi Teens!

Here is how the teen program works this summer.

1.    Sign up at one of the library branches or e-mail your name, age, phone number or address to reference@holmeslib.org
2.    Read books and write short reviews. Click on the button below to see how to do this online. If you want to write it out, there are forms at the library. These reviews will be put into a drawing at the end of the summer for a $50.00 Walmart gift certificate.
3.    Answer questions for a weekly drawing. There will be a weekly question online and at each branch. Each answer will be placed into a drawing for a weekly prize.
